Frequently Asked Questions

How should I plan for the trip?
  • Make sure to plan ahead for any medicines that could run out the week you are on the trip and have them refilled before you leave.
  • Gather information for your own personal interest to get an overview of the city you will be visiting.
  • Remember to plan for your pets to be taken care or stay while you are gone.
  • Consider writing your home and destination address (and mobile number if you have one) on a self-adhesive sticky label to stick inside your luggage in a visible place. If your luggage is lost and the baggage label has come off, at least they can still figure out whose luggage it is.
What should I pack for the trip?
  • Pack clothing according to weather (it would help to review weather before departure) and avoid the temptation of packing to much.
  • Bring comfortable shoes for walking – also bring plastic bags to keep them in your suitcase so they don't get your clothing dirty.
  • If you are attending a play or a formal place please dress appropriately.
How should I pack for my trip?
  • Keep all medicines and important paperwork in carryon.
  • Put anything that could possibly leak in a plastic bag to avoid mess.
  • Put all medications in your carry on that you may need during the day.
  • Use small bottles to pack toiletries and other small items.
What are some tips for traveling?
  • Do not travel with valuables and if you decide to, leave them in the hotel.
  • Split up your bank cards, cash and credit cards as much as possible in different pockets, your bags and wallet when packing. In case you do get robbed, at least you won't be strapped for cash (unless you have all your bags AND your wallet stolen of course!)
What are the bus rules?
  • Please give front seats to seniors, pregnant and disabled passengers.
  • No eating or drinking on the bus. Food and beverages may be brought on board only if they are in spill-proof containers.
  • Listen to audio devices using headphones that limit the sound to the individual user.
  • Practice cell phone courtesy. Limit the length, volume and content of cell phone conversations and put your ringer on vibrate.
